Parks are unevenly funded. After-school programs and youth sports the great equalizers are out of reach for too many kids.

MY POLICY PLAN

WHAT WE'LL DO ON DAY ONE, AND BEYOND

A park within a 10-minute walk of every California child.

Free youth sports leagues and after-school programs in low-income neighborhoods.

Protect and expand state parks, beaches, and open space access.

Invest in coaches, mentors, and trauma-informed recreation staff.
